On March 15 we started our adventure. We had a long day ahead of us so we hit the road early. Although it was dark and rainy, we were fortunate that we were going against traffic.
After heading south on I-5, we found our way east on I-84. Ahhh, there was the traffic - and, of course, the rain!
At least it was light by now
The drive was fairly uneventful (at least that's what we thought) and we (okay, Ron) learned to maneuver in and out of gas stations. We use diesel gas in the truck and after the first shock of paying over $5.00 per gallon for gas, we settled in.
A few weeks before we started this adventure I spoke with Norco, the company who supplies my CPAP supplies, and discussed how I would get supplies should I need them on the journey. We talked through different options and I decided to not fret about it (it's not like me to not fret) and just punt when/if I needed something. Imagine my surprise when we approached the first RV park and directly across the street I saw this.
While it was our first park, we were impressed with how clean and organized it was. And so easy to get into our spot - love the Pull Through sites!
All in all, it was a good day. But, of course, we've already started learning some valuable lessons. Today's lesson: wine stacked in a side table cabinet doesn't travel too well. #onlylost2 #freetrashdisposalatrvparks
